CareerWharf believes applicants should always know what they are signing up for and should never feel pressured or unsafe. This page sets out the commitments we make when we advertise roles and when we communicate with applicants.
It is a summary only. The full details are in our Website Terms and Privacy page, which take precedence if anything here differs.
Every role we promote is a real opening from an employer. We do not promise specific earnings and we do not publish invented statistics, ratings or placement figures. When an advertisement and the website disagree, we fix whichever is incorrect.
Applicants are never charged. We will not ask for deposits, equipment purchases, training fees, credits or top-ups, and applicants are never asked to provide passwords, verification codes or banking login details.
Before you begin any work, request written information from the employer about who they are, the work involved, the pay and when you will be paid. HR can talk you through the general arrangements on WhatsApp, but the employer’s written confirmation is the document to rely on.
Our roles are available to adults living anywhere in Australia. We do not turn applicants away on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or any similar attribute.
If you need information in another format, or would like some extra help with the training, tell HR and we will do what we reasonably can.
Each role starts with brief online training. HR stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout, so you can ask questions whenever they come up. You will not be asked to start work until you feel ready.
Employers we work with must describe their roles accurately, pay people as agreed and treat applicants with respect. We look into every complaint about an employer and stop making introductions where a complaint is substantiated.
Real messages from CareerWharf come from the WhatsApp number displayed on this website or from an email address ending in @careerwharf.com. We will never ask you to switch to an unfamiliar app, pay through a link or share your screen. If you receive something like that, do not engage and send us the details.
Personal information is managed in line with our Privacy page and the Australian Privacy Principles.
If anything about an advert, a message or a role concerns you, write to careers@careerwharf.com with as much information as you can. Each report is reviewed by a member of our team, and we will let you know what we did about it.
We review this page whenever our process changes and at least once a year. Any changes appear here with an updated date, so you can always see which version applies.
