careerwharf.com is operated by CareerWharf from Kingscliff, New South Wales. These website terms apply to anyone who visits the site or contacts us through it. By continuing to use the site you agree to them; if you do not, please leave the site.
The terms apply equally whether you found us through an advert, a search result or a link from someone you know.
“CareerWharf”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of this site. “You” and “your” mean the visitor or applicant. “Employer” means the business that provides the work and pays for it.
CareerWharf is a recruitment service, not an employer. Browsing the site or chatting with HR does not establish employment, a contract of service or any similar relationship between you and CareerWharf.
The home-based roles on the site are provided by external employers. Openings change frequently, and a role can close or change before an introduction happens.
What we publish is a general outline. HR explains the details of each opening and the employer confirms them, and those details may differ slightly between employers.
Being introduced does not guarantee an offer. Each employer makes its own hiring decision.
You apply by contacting HR on WhatsApp, where we answer questions and explain what happens next. WhatsApp sends nothing until you tap send. If you are unable to use WhatsApp, email careers@careerwharf.com and we will assist you by email instead.
CareerWharf never asks applicants to pay to apply, purchase credits or coins, top up any account, unlock work or release wages. If anyone requests money while claiming to represent us, do not pay and tell us immediately.
Employers determine pay, hours and working conditions. Before starting, obtain written confirmation from the employer showing its legal name, the nature of the work, the rate of pay, the expected hours and the payment schedule.
We take care to keep the site, our advertisements and our messages accurate and in line with each other. If you find an advert that says something different from the site, please tell us and we will correct the inaccurate one.
The way we handle personal information is set out on our Privacy page.
You must not misuse the site, test or bypass its security, copy it in bulk, or use it to send spam or harmful material.
Do not impersonate another person when contacting us or try to obtain information about other applicants. We may stop responding to anyone who is abusive or threatening towards our staff.
All text, design elements and images on the site belong to CareerWharf or are used under licence. You may view and share them for personal, non-commercial use, but may not republish them for commercial purposes.
Some features rely on services operated by third parties, including WhatsApp and Cloudflare. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we have no control over how they work.
Links to services such as WhatsApp take you outside careerwharf.com. We are not responsible for content or practices on those services and suggest reading their policies before you share personal information.
We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee it will always be online or free from faults. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.
Nothing in these terms removes rights you hold under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerWharf is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or from an employer’s decisions. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service.
HR answers messages as quickly as practical on business days. Around public holidays or particularly busy weeks, replies may take a little longer. We ask that messages stay polite, and we will do the same.
If we find an error on the site we will correct it promptly. An obvious error does not bind either you or us.
Give us accurate information, keep your contact details current and review any offer carefully before accepting it.
You are responsible for securing your phone and WhatsApp account, for the devices and internet connection you use, and for any tax payable on income you receive.
CareerWharf is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as service outages at providers we rely on.
You can end contact at any time by telling HR or sending us an email. We may stop handling an application if the details provided are false or the role is no longer available. Provisions intended to survive, such as the limits on liability, continue afterwards.
If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
These website terms, together with our Privacy and Compliance and Safety pages, form the entire agreement between you and CareerWharf about the site.
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, and both you and CareerWharf submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
We will send notices to the email address or WhatsApp number you have used with us. You may send notices to careers@careerwharf.com.
We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will always be on this page with its date. Please send any questions to careers@careerwharf.com.
